Augmented Cities is a project focused on big attractive cities which are being visited with many tourists every year. Augmented cities application is a game and tourist guide with navigation in one. Adventure quiz game with elements of augmented reality is created for mobile phones and tablets.
Augmented Prague is an adventurous qiuz game with elements of augmented reality. Through smart phones and tablets there is a new dimension of reality opened by application with AR – 3D objects are shown in real world in the story of Renaissance Prague, in the time of Rudolf II. GNSS navigation is utilized as a tourist guide in mysterious and scenic Old Town of Prague. Tourists in a role of alchemists go
through the town and try to discover the stone of wise man. It is focused not only on foreign tourists who use modern technologies but also on schools (gameducation of history) and businesses (corporate marketing and teambuilding). Thanks to multiplayer it can address families, friends and larger groups that can play on one device. It makes the tourism more free, no opening times, no bad guides without possibility to choose your own path, just new exciting experince from new town.
